Kiiro no Zanzō (黄色の残像)

“The Yellow Afterimage Spirit”

This yellow-and-black cap looks like it came out of a race it wasn’t supposed to survive.

They say Kiiro no Zanzō appeared at an empty street circuit after the final run. Nobody knew who had worn it. The yellow crown was torn, the black brim scraped raw, and a chain hung loose from its edge. But in a photograph taken at the finish line, there was a streak of yellow just ahead of the last runner. No one remembered seeing anyone pass.

In the lore, the sweeping black-and-white lines are ghost lanes—the path the cap took when the marked route ran out. The silver spikes count the split seconds that made the difference; the chain keeps the spirit from racing so far ahead it forgets where it started. Its tears aren’t trophies. They’re proof that speed has a cost.

Wear Kiiro no Zanzō when the moment to act is almost gone. It won’t promise you a win. It gives you the nerve to make your move before the chance disappears.

ONE RULE

Never wear it to run from something you owe.

The faster you go, the heavier the chain becomes. Turn back and face it, and the weight lifts.
